An Elegant Monochrome Wedding Editorial Combining Traditional Elements with Stylish Modern Accents
For this blog we are shouting out about the amazingly elegant monochrome wedding editorial which was recently featured on Love my Dress; a beautiful collaboration by the wonderful Alicia Marie Weddings and Fiona Kelly Photography.
The overall concept was to infuse traditional elements with a stylish modern accent and show how a design could work across all seasons as the perfect inspiration for couples planning their special day.
To keep the tablescape timeless and elegant crisp white, elements of gold and subtle touches of black were used. This kept the dining experience classic yet modern.
Our Pearl Dinnerware was the perfect choice to keep the tablescape crisp yet classic, paired with our Bexley Cutlery and Danica Glassware to incorporate elements of gold.
To finish the monochrome look, black stationery was designed by Dimitria Jordan to contrast against our white dinner plates.
Anemone flowers were used to add subtle touches of black with a crisp white selection of roses and ranunculus.
Bloomologie created a stunning arch of white cherry blossom and Queen Anne’s lace to give a contemporary feel to the overall look while creating impact.
Felisiti Greis was chosen to show how bridal tailoring can be used to give a modern twist with understated elegance.
This palette shows versatility through all seasons and can be used in different spaces and with various floral varieties to still give a timeless yet modern look. And proof that our cutlery can be the perfect base for this look.
